SSAA star Stuti Joshi selected for the Maharashtra U15 team participated in the AIFF 6th Girls' Sub-Junior National Football Championship 2009 held at Haldwani, Uttarakhand

The camp mainly emphasized on Stamina, Ball control and Techniques. Stuti says "The camp has helped her to recognize her strengths and weakness".

Stuti and her parents are univocal in crediting her progress to Steadfast where she has been training since the last one year. "We are really satisfied with her and would like to wish all the kids good from our side for future selections" says her parents. Steadfast thanks her parents for taking such a proactive role.

SSAA Wins at Swami Vivekanand Football Tournament

SSAA U19 football team opened the season winning the Runners up trophy at the 16th Swami Vivekanand Football Tournament held at Malad - Mumbai . The tournament saw participation from 22 teams including an all African team.

The tournament was played over two Sundays. The only U19 team, displayed brilliant football moves and won the cheers from the spectators and Organisers.

Due to heavy rains the match had to be played on sloshy field and due to fading light the winners were decided on Penalty shoot outs.

Steadfast Striker was awarded the Best Player of the tournament.

St. Pauls and AVM Juhu win - Ahmed Sailor’s Champions trophy

For a team which hasn’t played any tournament for more than two years, St. Pius High School has started the season with a bang. The tally in the five tournaments participated this season, has raced to One Win, Three Runners Up and One Semi Finalist.

Carlton D’souza Steadfast Coach credits this success to the hard work and determination the boys during the hiatus. The team did not participate in the previous edition as Coach Carlton was not available due personal problems.

This year the teams have reached the finals of District Sports Association (DSO) and Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) tournaments in the U14 and U16 boys’ category.

The Finals of the Ahmed Sailor Championship saw Don Bosco’s leveling the defeat by a solitary goal. St. Pius had got the better of Don Bosco (Matunga) 3-1 via penalties in the quarter final of the Nike MSSA Utpal Sanghvi knock tournament held earlier at the Azad Maidan.

The Arya Vidya Mandir School – Juhu team, a promising side made it to the trophy table winning the 2nd Runners Up trophy. The team Coached by George Lawrence of Steadfast has been a team to beat, with a side boasting of some brilliant players.
